Our handmade water-based or natural dye printed sustainable accessories are made using different eco-friendly tecnhiques like silk-screen printing, batik, eco-printing or block-printing.
The function of a printing is to decorate a fabric. Decorated fabrics have been found amongst antique cultures like the Egyptian, Pre-Hispanic and Asian. It is one of the most popular techniques used to give colour, texture and design to a fabric.
Discover the beauty and originality of our printed fabrics in handbags linen, some reversible, or in models made in collaboration with other artists, like the print in the Comporta Capsule limited edition collection. This collection is the fruit of the synergies between the crossing of D-Raíz Design and the students of the Serigraphy course at CIEC (Centro Internacional de la Estampa Contemporánea).
Thanks to the use of water-based inks to printed fabrics, the colours achieved are clean and intense. The touch of the print is smoother. The fabrics are fresh in the warm season because they allow free transpiration thanks to the lightness of the printing. Water-based inks are also more noble and environmentally friendly tan synthetic-based ones, as they are free of toxic elements.
