Piñatex® is a natural non-woven material made from pineapple leaf fibre that can be used as an alternative to leather and petroleum-bases textiles. This material can be used as a sustainable alternative for consumers as it offers a better option for a better future.
Piñatex® is made from pineapple leaf fibre, that is a by-product of the agricultural industry. It doesn’t need additional land, water or pesticides to produce the raw material. All dyes used are GOTS approved and the resins comply with AFIRM standards and are also REACH compliant
Piñatex® is a versatile, light and durable material, making it suitable for its use in fashion and indoor furniture. It’s not just a textile, but a new material for a new world.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Piñatex is a versatile material, which is strong, breathable, light and flexible. Like any product, a product #MadeFromPiñatex needs regular care. We recommend taking care of your product with love!
/ Clean your product thoroughly and effectively with a cloth soaked in warm soapy water. If your item is heavily soiled, you can rinse it with lukewarm water, but never fully submerge it as this may cause irreversible damage.
/ Let your item dry before any application is made and avoid using a heat source to dry more quickly, as this could cause damage
/ It is advisable to use a natural colourless wax for your products #MadeFromPiñatex. Apply a small amount to a dry, soft cloth and rub sparingly over the textile in a circular motion until fully absorbed. Do not use too much wax as it may not fully absorb
/ Let your item dry naturally for 24 hours after application
/ You can also polish the wax with a dry cloth or a soft brush
